Clonlara School Clay & Play Camp
Located at 1289 Jewett, Ann Arbor, MI 48104
Kids ages 6–14 are invited to join us for a fun, hands-on camp experience!
Campers will spend half of each day in ceramics lessons with Tara of Clay + Code, and the other half in “free play”—a semi-structured, supervised time to explore outside, play games, and create projects. Camp runs Monday through Friday, with full-day and half-day options. No prior clay experience needed.
Camp Sessions
Week 1: June 22 – June 26
Step into a magical world of clay!
Campers will create pottery inspired by fantasy and magic. Through hands-on clay building and glazing, students will explore creativity, storytelling, and essential ceramic techniques.
Week 2: July 6 – July 10
Where clay meets treats, menus, and imagination!
Campers will run their own pretend café—designing clay food, dishes, décor, and even branding. Each day focuses on a new café element while building ceramic skills.
